Think of this step as onboarding a new Product Manager (PM) to your team—equipping Revo with the right knowledge ensures it delivers accurate insights and supports effective collaboration.
Here’s how to build your Knowledge Base:
With the right context, Revo becomes a true extension of your team—ready to help wherever you need it.
Contexts are like specialized modes that help Revo adapt to whatever you're working on—whether it’s analyzing data, writing content, or coding. They unlock the right tools, knowledge, and behaviors without losing your conversation history.
Simply click the “Context: Global” dropdown in chat to switch between environments like Data Analysis, Creative Writing, or Code—all mid-conversation. Each context activates different knowledge bases, functions, and capabilities tailored to the task at hand.
🔹 You can create, edit, and manage custom contexts in the Contexts section of your dashboard. Set up specific system instructions, connect relevant knowledge bases, and enable the right tools to match your workflows. Revo automatically shares these with your team, so everyone stays aligned.Whether you're crunching numbers, writing a product spec, or building a new feature, Revo’s contexts let your team work the way they naturally think—without ever needing to reset or repeat yourself.
When connected to your Google account, Revo automatically joins your meetings as your personal note-taker. It records the session, captures key details, generates full transcripts, and delivers clear summaries with actionable next steps.
You can also invite Revo to meetings on Microsoft Teams and Zoom, making it easy to capture insights across the platforms your team already uses.
In Settings > Meetings, you have full control over how Revo behaves:
🔹 Choose which meetings Revo should join—all meetings, accepted meetings only, or only meetings you own.
🔹 Decide who should receive the meeting summary—just you, selected participants, or the entire invite list.
🔹 Prefer a meeting to stay private? You can easily remove Revo from any meeting.
🔹 You can also manually add specific labels in the Labels tab in Settings (under Meetings) to better organize your meeting recordings.
Insights are automatically generated reports and updates that Revo surfaces based on the workflows you've set up—like competitor analysis, weekly progress summaries, product performance, or customer feedback trends.
They’re delivered straight to the Insights tab at the frequency you choose, so you can easily stay on top of what matters most without chasing down information.

When you connect your CRM tools, Revo brings together feedback from all your users into a single, centralized view—giving you a clear pulse on what your customers are saying. Whether it's product requests, support issues, or general sentiment, everything is captured in one place so nothing slips through the cracks.

Invite Revo to Slack or Microsoft Teams and collaborate with it just like any other team member—right where your conversations are already happening. By bringing Revo into your workspace, you can ask questions, delegate tasks, generate documents, summarize threads, and surface insights without leaving the channel.
To interact, simply @revo and start chatting. If Revo hasn’t been added to a channel yet, just mention @revo and accept the invitation prompt.
⚠ Note: Revo can only access channels it has been explicitly invited to. It won’t join private channels unless you invite it, and it cannot be added to direct messages.
Bringing Revo into Slack and Microsoft teams keeps your team in the flow—so decisions, documentation, and action items happen right alongside the conversation.
Revo includes powerful project management capabilities designed to keep your team focused, aligned, and moving forward. You can structure your work using Projects, which represent larger initiatives or product goals, and Issues, which capture individual tasks, bugs, ideas, or feature requests tied to those projects.
🔹 Group related Issues under a Project to give your work structure and direction. Assign Issues to team members, set due dates, define priorities, and track progress over time.
🔹 Use Projects to manage sprint cycles, backlog grooming, or long-term product roadmaps. Revo helps you stay on top of everything by surfacing blockers, suggesting next steps, and even generating summaries of sprint progress.
Whether you're running Agile sprints or managing complex initiatives, Revo ensures your entire team has visibility into what’s happening, what’s next, and who’s responsible—without needing yet another tool.
Under Manage Members in Settings, every team member can set their own personal instructions—these are like a custom user profile that helps Revo tailor its behavior and responses to your individual working style.
You can personalize how Revo communicates with you by choosing your preferred tone (e.g. friendly, formal, concise), language, and even the level of detail you want in answers.
🔹 You can also provide important context like your role, current projects, OKRs, and any other relevant information. These instructions allow Revo to better understand your priorities, adjust its tone and responses, and deliver insights that feel truly relevant to you.
With personal instructions in place, Revo becomes more than just a helpful assistant—it becomes a teammate that gets you, adapts to you, and fits seamlessly into the way you work.
Make sure to download Revo’s browser extension—it puts Revo just a click away, right where you already work. Whether you're in Figma, Notion, Jira, or browsing the web, the extension gives you instant access to your AI teammate without ever switching tabs.
Clicking the extension opens a right-hand panel where you can chat with Revo in real time. Need to share what you're seeing? You can take screenshots directly from the chat—for example, capture your Figma design and ask Revo how your user personas might interact with the concept. From there, Revo can create a Jira ticket for any identified issues and assign it to the right teammate—all in one seamless flow.
